    To get to exact size on the monitor, you have to set up the calibration of the rulers. You do this by going (menu) Tools->Options->Workspace->Toolbox->Zoom, Hand Tool and then click on button labeled "Calibrate Rulers...". Once there, you can set your display so that when you select a zoom factor of 100%, your 3cm object will display...

    Asher, instead of going through all that trouble erasing or trimming your circles, why don't you just use the Arc option? When you select the Eliipse Tool, on your Upper Property Bar, you have 3 options, Ellipse, Pie or Arc. Select ARC.
  • Re: Mask Boundry is lost when I zoom in and out

    I'm assuming you are talking about the free hand tool, yes that is annoying. I normally finish the selection by double clicking and then I zoom in and then I continue to make my selection, just make sure to select the additive mode before continuing the mask.

    Andy, I think we all understand your frustration, I have glitches but I too have almost no crashes and my graphic/video card is on the motherboard not a separate entity. I have only 1.5 gb RAM and I just completed a project that was 173 mb (finished size) full of hi-res photos and text in columns. The finished size was 24" x 18". I was afraid...
