Export selection as EPS exports complete page

    Hello,

I'm new to the Corel Draw scene. Working in X3 with a .cdr of multiple pages (12?) and having problems exporting a selection. When I select multiple ungrouped objects using the pick tool and do a Ctrl E, I get the Export popup with the "Export this page only" and "Selected only" checkboxes marked (which is what I want.) After clicking on the Export button, I get the next EPS popup menu, select TIFF as my header, choose color option, set 300 dpi, Export text as text, PostScript level 2, Apply ICC profile, Separations printer profile all set. Everything seems to be correct except when I go to import the .eps in Adobe FrameMaker 7.2. In Frame, I import the .eps and it is imported as a complete page. Sounds like a problem with Frame, right? I'd agree except that I do not get this problem when I copy the same set of objects, paste into a new .cdr and export from there. Also, I do not have this same problem if the header is tagged WMF. Any suggestions or directions on where to find in either online help or print appreciated.

     Thanks

Re: Export selection as EPS exports complete page

    Hi Gus!

Dear the option is "this page only" it menas whole one page which is curruntly appears, if it is marked there is no meaning for selected only. it always export appeared current page.

if you want one or selected object from many object in curren page, please mark/sign only "selected only" not need to mark/sign "this page only"

    Thanks

Thank you for the reply, however, unfortunately, that does not solve my problem. I should have stated that when I mark the checkbox "Selected Only" the "Export this page" is automatically checked and I can not uncheck it. There is no option to mark the box "Selected Only" without also marking the "Export this page" box. Sorry for any confusion on this.

    Thanks

make sure you have what you want exported selected, then in export dialog for  .eps, in the "advanced tab" click on "objects"

Re: Export selection as EPS exports complete page

I think my file has become corrupted. I opened a Draw document and pasted images from the existing one into the new one. So far, I've created a 3 page document and have been able to export as .eps as usual without problem. Yes "Objects" is selected in the advanced tab. The settings are the same on the 13 page document and the 3 page version but for some reason I am not having any luck exporting selected from the larger doc. I see a lot of copying and pasting in my future.Super Angry. Thanks for the input. I did go back and check suggestions rec'd here.

    Answer

Copying and pasting into a new file seems to have done the trick. I'm not sure why but now I can export my eps as before. Thanks to all who contributed.
