    Change Import setting

I want to change the default setting for imported items so that instead of being centred on page they are placed in their original position. I had my previous installation of Corel Draw (V12) set this way but cannot remember how I did it when I re-installed it.

There are templates and shapes that I have created. I have been using them for quite a long time. However since doing a re-install of Corel Draw they appear centred on page. I have been used to being able to import them and by pressing ENTER or SPACEBAR have them retain their original position on page in order to print in correct position on page.

Enter should place them in the center of the current page. Space should place them in their original X Y Coordinates on their "saved page". You can always place them using the click drag too.

If the page sizes do not match you may be seeing some unusual things happen.

    Re: Change Import setting

Thanks for your reply Rikk. In my previous setup I had somehow been able to change the settings so that they would import to the original X Y co-ords. (using both ENTER or SPACEBAR) Now I find that I can only import them centred. The reason I created the templates was to save me having to find the correct placement each time so I didn't have to drag & drop. Any further advice would be appreciated Wyn
