Sad [:(] Font size changes on import...

I'm importing a file saved as an AutoCAD 2004 DWG file (the problem happens in any version of DWG and DXF that X3 can import) and the text size is all screwed up.

On import all the text has been increased in size. For instance, a line .160" high has become .183" or so high.  I have to go in and manually re-size the text.  I can specify the correct text height (in my case. .160" and .130") in X3 with no problems.

What can I do to prevent X3 from screwing up the text height?

    tnx!

How about converting the text to curves before you import?

AutoCAD 2007 has no ability to do that that I have found. :(

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem with SVG, the reason from Corel is that text size is specified in pixels untis for text in the SVG standard but Corel can only set the units as points, mm, cm etc. all the text displays too small

    snip...

    ...snip

Not the answer you want, but instead of manually resizing the text, I just found this from another user:

Edit > Find and Replace > Replace Objects > Replace font properties

It will allow you to essentially do a search and replace for the wrong size and replace it with the proper height text.  What a time saver!  Good luck finding the real solution to save this step as well.
