JPEG exporting larger than original files

    Greetings,

Sometime in the past week my jpeg optimization routine has broken in PhotoPaint 12. The exported files are now nearly as large as the original files. Anyone else here encounter this and found an explanation or fix?  I have been running Corel 12 (SP1) since it's release have experienced no problems prior to this.

My gif and png exports are still working fine so I have been using that in the interim as situation dictates, but would really like to get my jpeg export working properly again so I don't have to resort to creating in Corel, exporting a tif and then slicing and dicing in another program. (Have lots of software, I just love my Corel most).

Thanks for your help in advance.

Double check your color management settings and make sure you aren't exporting a color profile to be imbedded in the file when you save. On the color management dialog it is the double arrows pointing two and from the page icon in the upper left. Turn off those arrows and try again and see if your file is smaller. IF it is, then that is the source of you issue.

Thanks Rikk... That was the problem. In all my years of using Corel, (Since version 5). I've not had the color management settings change themselves, but apparently they somehow got shifted my web settings to professional print output.
