Whoa, Paul.........why go thru all that trouble?

Click on the shape tool and slide the right arrow. Two clicks and you're done.

At worst, click on the shape tool and adjust the corresponding control text nodes manually. 

Either way, total time is a few seconds. Total clicks are minimal.

Curious why you think that you need to go through all that fuss?

 Well, I rekon it's best to learn the "hard way" first before you learn all them "fancy dancy shortcuts."  <G>

Well, I went back and tried it your way and it worked great.  Thanks for the info and for replying.

I've got many more to do with different text in that spot so the others will go much easier.

Does anyone have the need for a Virginia Sheriff's badge CDR?  If so, I've got it.

I also have the SWAT Eagle that I converted to a vector.  I have it in multi color and single color that I cut in vinyl.

made sense yet seems a little too much work. just selecting the text with the shape tool and adjusting manually (to the eye) works for me just as easily
