O.K. So Ahmad told me how to create a neon look,worked great! Now how do I eliminate those frame box lines around the drop shadows so I can select objects next to it,do I do the ALT SELECT thing??

Yes, and take a look at the Object Manager (Tools > Object Manager). Click on an object in the docker to select it.
