What is a Dream3D replacement product.

I have upgraded computers and now have Windows Vista OS. I have recently retired and now have time for my favorite hobby creating 3d graphics. I need to upgrade my Corel from Corel Graphics Suite 8 to something compatible for Vista. Dream3d was the program I use for creating 3D sci-fi space ship type drawings. I created complex shapes in Draw and exported them to Dream. I would like to find a program that would get me similar results. I would like to upgrade to Coreldraw X-3 but need advice on a 3D product that would interface with X-3 like Graphics Suite 8's Draw,Photo and 3D did. I would appreciate any advice on a 3d product. The newer 3D products probably have something built in for creating shapes but product information does not go onto much detail.  Currently considering Cararra 6. Thanks

Corel Dream 3D was actually almost identical to a product called Ray Dream 3D. That product evolved into Carrara Studio, which is now sold by DAZ 3D. I believe that Carrara 6 is also able to open Dream 3D files, but I cannot guarantee that. There might be a trial available to check it out first.
