Major problem with greek fonts in X3

    Hallo corel users,

I'm new to the forum and it maybe my only help to my problem. Does anybody know why the fonts thas I used in Corel 7 & 9 cannot work with X3 (and 10-11-12 versions). I have to tell you that I have hundreds of greek fonts that I was using with corel 9 and in X3 they are converted to rectangulars. The greek saler of corel doesn't have any answer, and in corel site I cant find the way to post them my question.

Does anybody has an answer different than...."use both versions"

    Thanks - Benedict from Greece

    Hello Benedict,

the problem is related to the code page of your document. With CorelDRAW up to version 11, the CDR documents where using country specific code pages. With version 12, the whole graphics engine and file-format was changed to work in Unicode, e.g. to support characters from around the world, within the same document. When opening a document with X3 / X4, you have a drop-down list in the File > Open dialog box that enables you to select the code page. If CorelDRAW is not able to do the mapping correctly for you, try specifying the correct one in the list.

    Hope this helps.
