    I have 100+ files made with version 8.0.  When I kept getting the invalid file format message on all I tried, I uninstalled my version 8 and installed version 12 which I had on hand.  It does now work either.  Tried Answer IDs 201460 and 753535 but could not impliment the solutions they recommended.
