    Re: duplexing wizard

     Hi sriram

Duplexing wiizard can be used to print your designs back-to-back. The wizard guids you how the paper should be feeded to your printer for perfect B2B Printing. A guide print is printed & you need to select the options depending on the guided print. Then the wizard instructs you how the paper is to be feeded for the printout on its back.

If you know about the Gripper in offset printing, its somwhat related to it. Your B2B job requires to turn the paper for printing on back side. There are two ways of turning the paper. 1. Work & turn 2 .Work & tumble. This wizard tells you the way you should turn & feed the paper.

    Re: duplexing wizard

This thread is the one I found that most likely would solve my problem so I'm sorry if it seems in the wrong place.

I don't know if this is a Corel Draw Issue or an adobe issue. I use corel draw X4 and adobe professional 8.

I used to use Corel Draw 12 (never had one problem with it) I could print right out of corel draw on my lazer printer and have my printing features work perfectly.

Since getting X4 when I print directly out of corel draw my documents won't print at all. Because of this I started publishing my documents to PDF and then opening them in Acrobat and printing them that way. My PROBLEM is that when I do this my duplexing is backwards. (My copier auto duplex prints so I don't have to physically flip or tumble the pages) It used to work fine and so when I designed what I saw is what I got. NOw even though I request top to top, it prints top to bottom and vice versa. I do hundreds of calendars each Christmas season and needless to say this really confuses my printing with those. (Saddlestitched on 11 x 17)

Should I try printing to Adobe, publishing to pdf & changing some setting or try the duplexing wizard, which I've never even seen and perhaps that will set a default?

I dream about the time I could hit print and not have to do trial pages first!

    Hi Keachybean

Do you use the layout option in DRAW ? This could be the solution for your problem.

If your were printed in earlier versions correctly, I think it should work the same way in X4. I think nothing has been changed or modified in this regard in X4.

I don't use it much at all as I find that it seems to mess up placement for some reason. I'll play with it though, thanks for the suggestion.
