    remembering layers in copy command

    Hi everyone!

I personally prefer CorelDraw over the Illustrator, to just name a few reasons: allign, PAGES, power crop tool...

However, there is one thing that drives me mad. COPY COMMAND DOES NOT REMEMBER LAYERS (which in Illustrator it does). Is this issue resolved in X4? Yes, I know - you can always use the cmx export, but there is a problem (at least one that I know of) - OBJECTS WITH DIFFERENT TRANSPARENCIES FOR FILL AND OUTLINE GET BROKEN DOWN INTO SEPARATE OBJECTS. Needless to say it enlarges the file size and obstructs the editability process as now transparent and nontransparent object are grouped into one.

Another thing: OBJECT HANDELS ARE ALWAYS GLOBAL, it would be nice to have local scale handels; for example: when you create a rectangle you can only resize it in x and y direction, as soon as you rotate it, that does not translate into width and height when you start to scale the object.

Did some of these issues been resolved yet? Does anyone have an idea?

    thanks!
