Can X4 do a photo mosaic? By this can I use it to create an image by using hundreds of photos?

Can it be used for that? Sure. Is there an automated way to do it? No. So
while it can be done, I think it would be a very tedious process to
complete. That would be true for every other image editor that I know about.
I'm sure that those creating photo mosaics have some special software doing
it for them.

Sure you can, I do it all the time, well perhaps I don't do it with hundred of pictures, but as Foster says, it is not an automated process.

1 open a new image, the size of your final photo
2 drag and drop a picture on top of the new image.
3 select the new object/picture and attach a hide all clip mask to it
4 paint over the clip mask with a soft white brush to reveal the image.
5 repeat this for each image and perhaps save and flatten the image if you have a lot of objects.

That is great stuff Patti! Looking at your link, I understand that I had no idea what the OP was looking for.

I've been watching the thread to see what you guys came up with. And it took me all of 3 second to download that and 15 seconds to email the link off to 5 others. ;)

This is exactly what we need built into PP. It's one to keep in mind to list on the coming wiki. Cheer Patti!
