CorelDraw Won't open.....Registry Value ConfigDir not found

I just downloaded and installed CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. I tried to open it and I get an error that pops up a few times saying Value ConfigDir not found in registry. It pops up twice then a different error pos ip saying The UI Language Registration is invalid. Then a runtime error pops up and says the application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I tried looking in the registry and under hkey local machine/software there was not even a corelKey. So I created one and the appropriate sub keys and then created the sting value it was looking for manualy. It still came back with the same exact error.

any suggestions...I really would like to get this software working.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate x64

    Thanks

    Hey JIngato,

I had a similar problem when first installing x4.  I'm running XP right now so this may not be your problem.  However, running "repair" from the installation disk solved the problem instantly.  I can't remember if the downloaded version had that option, but maybe a new download session would resolve it.

Yeah, I tried tha already with no luck Super Angry

    Thanks for the reply though

Maybe somebody could export the Corel Keys under HKLM/Software, zip it up and attach it. Then I could look at the structure and try to replicate it. That't the only thing I could think of. I have absolutely nothing for corell in my registry.....exept for the one key I added myself.
