    no drawing boundary??

I am new to corel (using it at work) and am used to photoshop, but I'm having a problem.

The boundary line that represents the edge of the document is just not showing up. For example, when I try to open a .jpeg, there is no black line around the edge of the document. I can just keep zooming further and further out through an endless white space.

I need to be able to change the paper size, so I need to see this boundary. I have not seen any options to change this.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I even reinstalled the program.

    Re: no drawing boundary??

    Hi uneath005,

I'm a little confused by your question (this is normal for me Big Smile).  The page boundaries work in Photo Paint the same way they work in Photo shop (using the color scheme your windows does to portray the "outside" area of your image when you zoom out beyond the boundaries).

In CorelDraw there is a box delineating the page bounded by a thin non-printable line and a drop shadow, similar, but not quite the same as illustrator.

Which of these are you pointing to?

Photo-Paint does not have an option for that black line page boundary like Photoshop. I'm not sure I understand why you need it.  You could change the grid to 8.5 x 11, if you need some visual boundary for your page. Also, if you want the image window to resize as you zoom in/out on your image, you can check the option under Workspace>General to Automatic view resize.

Maybe the background is bitmap and then window background in PP are the same color?
