    Photo-Paint crashes upon saving

I have this weird problem that has been repeating for a few days now. I'm making .gif animations from .avi files (they are not large though), it goes well, I save the file as gif but then application error occurs and PP crashes, BUT the file was saved successfully.

It's really annoying me now because I'm making over a hundred animations and the program crashing after almost each of them is awful.

    Thank you for your help!

Try a reset start of PP, hold down the F8 key then start the program, answer yes to the prompt. This worked for me when it was crashing. Note, any customizations you have made to the toolbars will be lost as it goes back to factory default. Much better than crashing though.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. It still keeps crashing. Sad

I think if you go to Control Panel / Add Remove programs you can do a repair of your CorelDraw installation, and if that fails to resolve your problem then I would uninstall and reinstall CD completely. I did read somewhere that if you have MS Office installed on your computer that you need to remove all of the MS Office Temporary files before you install CorelD. You can do this through Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Disk Cleanup. Make sure you have shut down all programs running in the background especially any anti-virus software before reinstalling. Hope it resolves your problem.
