Hi to all. I am a new user of Corel Draw Suite 12, and I just signed up to this web to

air my problem in running my saved corel draw file in my windows XP. A couple of months ago,

I hired a layout artist to design & layout (in Corel file) a company profile for my employer. After several revisions, we finally

printed a final draft for mass printing. In short, I was already printing the final copy (stored in my harddisk)

for distribution to clients. Two weeks ago my PC was having problems and was diagnosed to be infected with minor

virus, which I have it cleaned and remove by a computer technician. just this morning when i tried to open my saved

corel draw file (company profile), an error poped up with the message " ERROR READING A BITMAP FILE", and opening

of my saved file is discontinued..

Can anyone tell me what should i do?

 Do you have the Autobackup or Backup on Save active? This option should kept a save copy of your file. If you have not any backup, you could try to convert it to CMX. You may lose some special effects if any, but you could recover the file total or partial. It is a macro in the list that convert to different formats, one of them is CMX.

Simple :)

Open .cdr file again and do an export in .bmp format.

It's very easy: file --> export
