    Cut/Plot Application in X3

    Hi everyone.

Up until this week I've had no problems using CorelDraw 12 along with my Graphtec CE5000-60 cutter. However this week I purchased a copy of X3. I uninstalled 12 before installing X3 and ever since when trying to run Cut/Plot from the Application Launcher I get no response from it. I've uninstalled Cutting Master 2 and reinstalled it but still no joy. Oddly though CM2 will run no problem from within Illustrator CS2. This is a major headache because my business relies on everything running seamlessly and I'm tearing my hair out trying to find a solution.

Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked for any Graphtec software updates on their web site?

    You only need:

    - install drivers, as any printer

    - change language from HPGL to GP-GL

    - send to print (Ctrl+P) objects with "hariline" and "Black" outline, and "no fill".

    Thanks for your help guys.

Hugh - I have the latest version of X3 including both SP's and hot fixes. I can't see any other download which might address this issue.

Ariel - appreciate your advice. I would like Cutting Manager 2 to load up when I send the job to Cut/Plot though because of the different layer/colour options I can choose to cut, along with sizing, orientation etc.

As a temporary workaround I've been exporting my work as AI then sending to Cutting Manager using Illustrator CS2 but I would rather not have to take this extra step and simply do everthing in X3.
