    Hi,

Here is the thing, when you make webdesign, you generally have one program to make all graphics, like images for menu´s and such. And fixing (imaged editing) all images, wether it may be illustration, graphics or photographs. And then you have a different program to put it all together, and later transfer it out on the webhotel server.

You can also choose to work either in HTML (also known as HTM) or Flash.

Because I do my websites in HTML/HTM, (and css) I useally start by first making a draft in my sketchbook. With pen and paper. After that I either open CorelDRAW or Photo-Paint. In either of those two programs I choose to work in, I make the document/images for each page that will eventually become the website pages. I very ealy descide what size my pages will have, especially the width of the pages. Let say as an  example 700-900 pixels width. This way I can make all the graphics and general design in either CorelDRAW or Photo-Paint. In photo-Paint I many times use the Image Slicing tool, to cut/crop all images, graphics in the prefered size. And consequently all photos and graphics will be image adjusted.

When all the design, graphics, photos and so on, of the website is finished, I open a new program, an HTML editor program. A free program one can use is Kompozer. (which you can find on Download.com) or a payed program such as Dreamweaver.

In those htm editor programs All the links (some linking can bee done in Photo-Paint and CorelDRAW, but I will not mention it here), and all the text, and images, everything is put together finally in those kind of editor programs.

Flash is a totally other kind of technique, so you have to ask sometone who works with Flash.
