As a heavy user of Designer 12 was super interested to cxheck out X4.  Initial reactions......

1 - AS reported before download from Corel didn't work. Shows as a 321MB, goes to 381MB, then fails an intregity test. Download from CNet shows as 381MB and downloads smoothly.

2 - Object coordinates box - great incl interactive rotation etc......  As I work in mm, any way to show as 1 or 2 decimal places only???

3 - Dissapointment 1 - Paste still in place only. Should be Ctrl +V for in place and mouse click for paste at pointer. Try pasting small objects in a large drawing!

4 - Icon repainting. I'm a bit anal about reconfiguring icons to my personal taste. Fine with CD12 but X4 features a very limited palette (in fact only the ones actually used on the icon). Some have no palette at all.

5 - Keyboard shortcuts. Looks a lot more flexible than CD12 - excellent.

6 - Imported/ opened some CD12 .des files. Doesn't recognise Arial Black and substitutes Arial. Yet Arial Black in X4 text list ????  weird.

7 - Can use the non page space as drawing area - order front/back works - excellent.
