How do I quickly remove white border and background from business card to print on black t-shirt?

    I have a new direct to garment printer and I am VERY new to Coreldraw.  I have CorelDraw Graphics Suite x3.   I have done embroidery for 2 years with no problem (DesignShop), but I cannot seem to wrap my brain around all the functions of coreldraw.   

    The customer gave me a disk with their logo on it that they had received from the company that did their business cards.  I have no problem printing on white t-shirts but I need to print on black t-shirts now and I get the white box with the logo in the middle. I have tried the magic wand, addition, subtraction, etc thru Photo Paint 3 and so far I have been unsuccessful in removing the white around the graphic.  The lettering inside the graphic is white as well but I do not want to remove that. Of course, I just received the equipment back from being repaired today and the customer needs the logo printed asap for a softball tournament.

    Any help or suggestions would be VERY helpful. Thanks in advance for all the assistance I am sure you will all be now and in the future!!

    This tutorial specifically talks about removing the "white box" around a bitmap.
     
     
    I would highly recommend you consider getting my book. It provides detailed instructions for using CorelDRAW along with video tutorials so you can see it being done. I know it is VERY popular with people doing garment printing. Just talked with both Wilcom and Brother dealers today and they love the book.
