  • Re: Seamless Repeat Pattern

The resolution above works for your pattern, but check how others solved it with the PowerTRACEd vectors. More details and another solution in the " Antialiasing, both export and enhanced view " thread. You will find more threads if you search.

Problem This is a CorelDRAW Display problem. The pattern is correct and correctly aligned; there are no gaps between the units. But these lines result from the display anti-aliasing , same problem with PowerTRACEd vectors. Resolution Remove the cyan background rectangle from the pattern, and after you...
  • Re: Items not adressed in SP1

X4 renders text with aliased (jagged) edges when it is being placed on top of a Photopaint image. X3 does NOT do this. What have the programmers done. X4 is a giant step backwards in this aspect.

  • Re: exporting problem

Background color should interfere in anti-aliasing algorithms only if it is visible within the boundaries of the objects being exported or converted to bitmap; not along all edges . In CorelDRAW, you can't get anti-aliased bitmap exported from vector objects without annoying and artificial one-pixel...
  • Re: exporting problem

In CorelDRAW 11 Lines appear depending on whether you are exporting vectors or pixels from CorelDRAW to a bitmap format. When exporting vectors, lines will appear if anti-aliasing is checked. When exporting rectangular bitmap, no lines will appear whether anti-aliasing is checked or not. Anti-aliasing...
