How do I add background in different color to this?

Please help!!!! I am a new COREL Draw user.....I want to add a background color to this. I am going to cut both layers on my IOLINE cutter and then sew it out on my Tajima embroidery machine. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! K. Logan

rendered this for a client that ultimately received a letter as it was too close to another logo. Thought I would post as it is vector text effects with drop shadows and transparencies entirely created in DRAW.

Simple text treatment in DRAW. This is an oldie but pretty kewl looking effect in vector. Gradient blends, some transparencies and drop shadows.
