import preview of graphic missing in vista with x4

I just "upgraded" to vista and installed x4 and updates but when I import a graphic (previously created as wmf in x4 on my winxp) the import window doesn't display a preview of image (which I so dearly loved when running winxp) and the dropdown menu for the Import button has everything...

Tool box icons don't light up after SP1

Has anyone else had the problem since SP1 with the icons in the tool box not lighting-up when they are selected? I waited a while before installing the patch to see what the comments were but no one else has mentioned this. Prior to SP1 when a tool was selected the icon would look depressed so you knew...

The settings for pdf's have never been altered since installation of X4. I can't open the pdf settings to see what they are set at. If I save the X4 file as an X3 file I can open the now X3 file in CorelX3, go to "Publish to PDF", and click on "Settings" without a problem...
